Who may apply? An overseas national who marries an EEA national that is, or intends to reside in the UK may apply for an EEA family permit.

How long may I stay in the UK? You will normally be a permitted to stay for 4 to 5 years.

Does it allow me to work? Yes.

One month before the visa expires you may apply for residency to remain in the UK indefinitely.
